It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We started decorating for Christmas this past weekend!  We didn't want to wait until after Thanksgiving...it seems so late this year!  The boys were excited and ready to have the decorations out.  We picked out a tree and had fun getting the house ready for Santa to come!

We took the boys to their first football game Saturday.  It was coooold but otherwise I think they had a good time....AND Duke won! 

A Wedding.

The boys attended their first wedding.  My cousin Ashley got married to a guy we are glad to welcome into the family.  It was a beautiful wedding even though there was a slight accident at the end...ha.  However, the boys behaved well and I think it turned out great.

Our Weekend.

We had a pretty relaxing weekend. Saturday we ate lunch at the local fire station to help raise some $$ for them and then did a little shopping. Landon picked out some paint and paint brushes so we came back home and after they BOTH took a long glorious nap I let them paint a little. Sunday we went to the 2nd (we say 3rd) Annual Chestnut Roasting Festival at High Rock Farm. The festival has certainly gotten a lot better each year...and it's always fun to go to places so nearby our home. 

Halloween 2013

The boys were way more into Halloween this year - well okay Landon was more into Halloween this year. Liam was still a little unsure about everything. He made the perfect angry bird though because he was pretty angry most of the night. He also got scared by some of the costumes -- the poor guy was pretty confused about everything actually. He did like the candy part and certainly ate his share. Landon had fun being a police officer like daddy and running around, getting candy and jumping/sliding in the bounce house. He kept saying over and over how much he liked Halloween.
