Video Time

I've got a few (3) videos to share! Last night we practiced letting Landon feed himself with a spoon. At first he was doing really well (using his left hand) and actually getting food into his mouth after getting some out of the bowl. Then he touched the applesauce on the spoon and from that point on all he wanted to do was touch the mess. He also switched hands and started trying it with his right hand. I started taking a video at that point...

The other night Daddy was playing xbox and his avatar was on the screen. Chad would make the avatar shake his head and then Landon would do the same thing back. It was sooo funny!!

I tried to get a video of Landon throwing a ball. His favorite one to throw is about half the size of him. He always does so well until I get the darn iPhone out to start taking a video. Now he's learning the iPhone has Elmo on it and Larry the talking Bird and he would rather play with those things then let me take pictures and videos of him. I don't blame him!

Getting ready for Halloween!

We took Landon to visit The Little Farm and check out their big cool hay bales! His favorite part was to try and pull all the hay out of the bales...and to watch all of the tuks drive by.

NC State Fair!

We went to the North Carolina State Fair today. Landon did GREAT! I think he enjoyed himself too. He ate the whole time we were there...but that's what you are supposed to do at the fair, right? We saw all kinds of tuks, ducks, pums and other fun stuff Landon wanted to point out. Uncle Matt, Grandma and Grandpa went with us too! We took a few pictures :) He finally passed out towards the end and took his first nap in the stroller!

After we got home from the fair we went and ate some BBQ at one of dad's friend's house. The food there was better than the food at the fair! Landon had fun playing in the dirt, rocks and sticks. Such a boy.

The other night we had spaghetti for dinner. Landon enjoyed eating it...and making a mess! haha



I got another video of him walking. He's really started to get more into it now. He's even ran a few times!

Daddy took Landon to see Poppy at the fire station today and check out the bed red firetuks! Daddy took a few pictures with his phone while they were there. Landon LOVES tuks right now. Right now everything with four wheels (or more) is a tuk! When you go outside he has to point out all the tuks for you, and when you're inside he has to go to the window and point outside at all the tuks.

Tonight after dinner we took him to a pumpkin patch. PUM! That's what Landon calls Pumpkins. He got to point at all the pums over and over again and had a lot of fun.

Talking!

Landon is learning new 'words' everyday! Last night he was saying "Dada Tuk!" when he looked out the window at Chad's truck. Then today Chad said they were going into the grocery store and there were a bunch of pumpkins outside and Landon pointed and said "Pum!" Our routine at night is to go around the house while he points at stuff and I tell him what it is. Last night he pointed at a Candle and I said, "Candle" and he said, "Ca!" Some of his other 'words' include:

Papi (used to be PapPap) [Paci]
Duk [Duck]
Tuk [Truck]
Hayhe [Haley]
Ba [Ball]
Dada
Mama

I'm sure I'm forgetting some! He's like a little sponge! He has amazed me at how fast he is learning!!!!!

Walking!

Landon is walking a lot more now! He'll even stop and catch his balance and then start again. We were able to get a little bit on video...
