He is currently napping. He was not a happy camper when we first got there (it was very early and he hadn't had any food). The doctor ended up giving him some meds to calm him down prior to surgery, and so before we knew it we had a drunk Liam on our hands. He was too funny...I took a short video...
The surgery was quick and successful! The doctor said his adenoids were HUGE (his words). He said they almost covered his entire nasal passage. No wonder the poor guy couldn't breathe well from his nose -- he probably couldn't breathe from it at all! They also cleaned out the ear wax in his ears and made sure his ears looked good. The doctor said they looked great...no fluid. He cleaned out his nose real well too and made sure all of that looked okay. He was telling us we probably won't see much improvement for at least a week or two but Chad and I both believe we can already tell a difference in the way he sounds just breathing normally. We really hope this will help with his sleeping and breathing issues and just make him feel better in general!
