Our Weekend.

We had a nice weekend.  It started early because of ice on the roads.  On Saturday took the boys to a birthday party and they really enjoyed themselves bouncing all over the place.  This was the first time Landon wasn't scared of doing anything.  He had a ton of fun.  On Sunday we just relaxed around the house...

God is Good.

Both boys have been feeling much better lately.  We only do the breathing treatments on Liam as needed which hasn't been very often.  He's starting to eat again and seems to be feeling much better.  We are so thankful for all the love and support we've seen over the past few weeks.  God is good.  Here are some recent pictures ...

Update and 18 Month Old Liam!

Sooo it's been a month since my last post!  Sorry about that!  Of course, we finished up our December photo album and started the January 2013 album!  Check them out!

We had a great Christmas with the boys.  Landon was so excited this year.  He just kept saying WOW!! all day long.  It was the cutest.  Liam had fun with all the boxes and wrapping paper.  He did get excited about a few gifts...especially Chuck the bear (Landon named him) - who is only about 5 times the size of Liam.

We had a little scare with Liam.  It started this past Thursday the 10th when he got a fever.  We didn't think too much of it because Landon had been sick with bronchitis.  We ended up taking him to the doctor this past Saturday morning and they diagnosed him with bronchitis as well.  He started on a z-pak and we figured he'd start to feel better.  Well he didn't...his fever wouldn't go down and he literally would not stop sleeping.  He laid in his crib all day and wasn't happy anywhere else.  I stayed home from work with him Tuesday to keep a close watch on him because I was worried.  Tuesday evening he started to breathe really fast like he couldn't catch his breath well.  I called the doctor and they wanted to see him right away.  To make a long story short, we took him in and the doctor ended up admitting him to the hospital because his oxygen levels were low.  They diagnosed him with RSV at the hospital.  We spent Tuesday and Wednesday night in the hospital keeping a close watch on his oxygen levels and his temperature.  He also had an ear infection and was dehydrated.  They had to stick him 11 times before they finally got his IV in...the worse part was he really wasn't reacting very much to the sticks...that's how out of it he was.

When we first got there --- trying to get the IV in...

Resting ...

Starting to feel better!

This was taken today -- finally playing with big brother!!

We are home now and he's doing much better.  Today was the first real day of improvement.  We bought a nebulizer and have to do breathing treatments every 4 hours until we go back to the doctor on Monday.  He's starting to do well with those and he's also starting to eat some.  He lost 3 pounds -- I'm ready to have my eater back!!

Other than this little scare he's been doing great.  He was 24 lbs before he got sick.  He's still in 18 month clothes - some 24 month, size 4 diapers.  He's talking a lot more...I think his favorite word right now is NO!  I've got some videos of him talking that I need to post up here.

We got some snow here last night!  Liam wasn't able to play in it because he's still recovering but Landon sure did check it out!
