Surgery

Liam had his adenoids removed this morning.  

He is currently napping.  He was not a happy camper when we first got there (it was very early and he hadn't had any food).  The doctor ended up giving him some meds to calm him down prior to surgery, and so before we knew it we had a drunk Liam on our hands.  He was too funny...I took a short video...



The surgery was quick and successful!  The doctor said his adenoids were HUGE (his words).  He said they almost covered his entire nasal passage.  No wonder the poor guy couldn't breathe well from his nose -- he probably couldn't breathe from it at all!  They also cleaned out the ear wax in his ears and made sure his ears looked good.  The doctor said they looked great...no fluid.  He cleaned out his nose real well too and made sure all of that looked okay.  He was telling us we probably won't see much improvement for at least a week or two but Chad and I both believe we can already tell a difference in the way he sounds just breathing normally.  We really hope this will help with his sleeping and breathing issues and just make him feel better in general!

23 Months!

This guy is 23 months old today!  One more month until he's TWO.  I cannot believe it.  We still call him Baby Liam.  I'm in the process of working on his 2nd birthday party.  We're going to have it at the Sprayground!  We took the boys there this past weekend and they had a blast. 

Liam is talking more and more everyday.  He loves to do whatever big brother is doing and I believe he learns so much from him!  He can count now too!  He's still wearing 2T clothes and size 4 diapers.  He's talked about going peepee in the potty a few times but hasn't actually done it yet. 

This past weekend we had fun playing outside.  The weather was just perfect!

No Power!

Thursday night we lost power because of some bad storms.  The boys were scared at first and upset because they were in the middle of eating a snack and watching a movie. 

But we ended up having a lot of fun just playing with some of their toys and then I remembered I had some glow sticks I had bought for them.  I wanted to use them when we went looking for lightening bugs but I thought it was a good time to bring them out.  Liam kept thinking they were food so I had to really watch him....but they thought they were neat.  I've heard you can put them in the bathtub too so I might have to get a few more and try that out sometime since they liked them so much --- then again, who doesn't like glow sticks!??

Liam

We found out on Tuesday that Liam will have to have his adenoids removed probably early July.  It should be a simple procedure and should help with his breathing problems.  I will keep you updated!

Boat Fun

When we were at the beach we filled up a little boat with water and created a baby pool for the boys.  They had so much fun!

It's already JUNE!  May sure did fly by...!

We had a fun this past Saturday.  We played outside then went to the winery up the road with some friends and listened to music and ate from food trucks.  The kiddos played well and then crashed hard when we got home.
