EIGHT!! MONTHS!!

Landon is EIGHT MONTHS OLD today!! Wow! He is now speed crawling all over the place and pulling up on EVERYTHING! He loves to laugh and smile and play! He plays so well by himself with all of his toys.


He will eat about any kind of baby food we feed him and is great with eating snacks with his fingers. His favorite snacks are veggie puffs and mum mums. He can grab things REALLY well and shove them right into his mouth! He even does the pinch grab. He still loves drinking out of a straw and is really good at it now. He can stand for a few seconds by himself but will quickly sit down when he starts to loose his balance. His favorite word to babble is still ByeByeByeByeBye! We are working on Mama! And trying to get him to say Dada more often...although he did say Dada on father's day a few times for Chad :) He loves the grass and the outdoors. He likes to watch the puppies and the big tractors at Grandma's house. Such a boy :) He will stand at the front door and just look out with a big 'ol grin on his face. He LOVES Haley. I don't think I can express in words how much he loves her. Every time he sees her he laughs. In the mornings she is who he looks for when he first wakes up. If you just say, 'where's Haley girl?' He'll look around and laugh.


He's started to stay up later (used to go to bed around 6:30 and now he's been going to bed closer to 7:30 or 8). I don't think he wants to stop playing. He still takes 2 naps a day (usually). He knows the word 'No!' ........haha. Yes, we have already had to say this SEVERAL times. We've had to say this a lot when he wants to play with the vents on the floor (one of his favorite things to mess with). I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things but basically I can sum this up by saying HE IS SO MUCH FUN RIGHT NOW!!! I LOVE spending time with him and learning his personality. Chad and I are some VERY lucky parents to have such a healthy, happy little boy!!!!!!! Thank you, Lord - We are so blessed!!

Now onto the 8 month pictures........they were a little hard this month seeing as he is very mobile right now. He did not want to sit still AT ALL. We also lowered the crib all the way down because he stands up in his crib a lot now. I was finally able to get a decent shot...
