Happy 10 Months, Landon!!!!

WOW! Time flys when you're having fun! Landon is truly a speed crawler and you can't turn your back on him for 2 seconds or he's into something. He always wants to play with stuff he's not supposed to be playing with...but hey, that's fun right?! He recently learned to dance and won't stop. He can now drink from a straw sippy without someone having to hold it!

He eats like a piggy......Sarah Piggy?!...haha for those who know what I'm talking about. For example, yesterday he ate a stage 3 and stage 2 baby food for breakfast lunch and dinner. Along with snacks ALL DAY...nilla wafers, goldfish, cheese puffs, yogurt melts. He also had a little bit of pizza at lunch and after he ate his dinner we went out to dinner with some family for a friend's birthday and he ate TWO chicken fingers! He's drinking anywhere from 18-24 oz of formula per day.

He goes to bed at 7pm and wakes up at around 5am for a bottle then goes back to sleep until 6:30 or 7am. He takes 2 naps a day ...morning nap starting around 8:30-9 and evening nap starting around 1:30-2.

He LOVES the pool and that makes me soooo happy...for all of you know I'm a pool girl! And so is daddy for that matter! He still doesn't show much interest in trying to walk. He will hold on to things and walk around them or along side of them but when he lets go he usually sits right down and speed crawls away. He does squat well and will do that without holding on to anything. If you try to get him to stand up with you holding his hands he curls up his feet and sits right down...like he doesn't want to put his feet on the ground...ha. Mom said I used to do that. I didn't walk until I was 14 months old... I really think he could walk...but he doesn't seem to care to want to and that sure doesn't bother me one bit. I'm going to cherish these last few months of slight freedom. At least now I can block him off and keep in contained in one area of the house. He loves to open and close doors and cabinets. I think we're going to have to lock our cabinets soon. He's started to like his paci a lot more recently. He'll go over to where they are and grab 3 of them and put one in his mouth and hold the other two. I'm not sure where the sudden paci want came from.

And on to the pictures...that were very hard to take. :)

Here's why I have so much trouble getting a good picture of him now...he won't stay still!!

I'm sure I'm missing a few things, but he's starting to wake from his nap so I better go rescue him! :)

  1. So funny! Ben curls his toes sometimes too, I think it depends on the floor for him. Definitely do not rush the walking!!!! Trust me life will NEVER be the same :)
Ben has always LOVED his pacis, as in there are 6 in his bed when he goes to sleep so he can always find one. He generally has one in his mouth and one in each hand (like me when I was little) Can you believe they will be 1 in a couple months!
