Landon's First Beach Visit

We went to the beach for the weekend with Grammy and Poppy. It was a very nice, short visit. Landon did GREAT. We left Friday night at his bedtime and so he slept all the way down. When we got there he woke up for a little bit and was just as happy as he could be.

He even showed off and stood up some in his pack and play - all by himself!

The next morning, after we went and ate breakfast, we got sunscreen on him along with his cute little bathing suit and he was ready to head out to the beach for the first time!

At first he wasn't sure what to think of the sand but then it became love at first touch. He got his normal crazy look in his eyes and then started smiling away.

Then there was no getting him to look up at us anymore.

He has been wanting to share a lot lately and that's very sweet. It's sorta yucky when he wants to share his mum mums. haha.

You can click here to view a video of his first visit on the beach. And go here to view another video of him playing in the sand that he loves so much. And he never ate the sand! I thought for sure the first thing he'd do was put it in his mouth like he does EVERYTHING else.

He even got in the ocean for a bit. I don't think he knew what to think of that cold water!

More playing in the sand!

After Grammy took Landon back to the room and he napped and we ate lunch we went back down to the pool and Landon went swimming for the first time! He loved the pool too! I took a video of him splashing in the pool. He loves to splash in the bathtub so I was pretty sure he'd love to splash in the pool too.

family shot!

Landon and Daddy :)

After the pool visit we took a little walk on the beach.

We came back and Landon took another (short) nap then we went out to dinner. He was such a trooper! His top teeth are trying to cut through and all he wanted to do was chew on everything...including the table at dinner...haha. So Poppy kindly let him chew on his finger...haha.

After dinner we took a walk out on the pier. Little man was starting to get tired but he still held on and was still in a great mood.

We had such a great time! Perfect mini-vacation! You can go here to view all of the pictures from the weekend. As well as Landon's 7 month pictures which I'm going to make another post about in a little bit!
