Birthday Parties!

Our weekend was full of celebrating birthdays! Riley turned ONE and Lily turned THREE.  The boys enjoyed cake and playing with friends.  Landon is all about some Ada (Ava, Riley's older sister).

Warm Afternoons

Here is some of that play time I was talking about :)

Last night we grilled out and played outside for a bit before the storm came.

Grass!!

We have grass!!  My daddy mowed it for the first time and I think it looks great!  I'm so looking foward to all the play time we will have on it!

Our Weekend

We had a nice weekend at home.  We did fun stuff like ...buy a dryer, paint our kitchen table, play outside, eat ice cream, take baths in mommy and daddy's bath, shop, play and just hang out.  It was nice family time.  I wish we could extend the weekend for about 3 more days. 

8 Months Old!

Our little guy is 8 months old today!  He's extra cute and cuddly.  Seriously, he loves to cuddle.  He also likes to shake his head no when you ask him to do about anything.  Especially when you ask him to say dada.  He whines for mama (which I have to say I think is very cute). He has started taking bottles again..still not very well but at least he's drinking a little better.  He still loves to nurse though.  He isn't sleeping any better and he would eat as much baby food as we would feed him.  He's also had a tad bit of table food here and there and some yogurt.  He ate almost an entire pickle at Jason's Deli the other day.  There hasn't been much he hasn't eaten..actually I can't think of anything, really.  The boy loves food.  He's more mobile (which you can tell by looking at his 8 month pictures) but he isn't crawling.  He will get on all fours and rock.  He stands up holding onto things though. He's wearing 12 month clothes (mainly), size 3 diapers in the day and 4 at night.

Zoo!

Uncle Matt and GG took Landon to the Zoo with Cyndi Yaya, Jace and Christopher yesterday. I think they all had a lot of fun. Landon was excited to 'see animals'. My brother said his favorite part was riding the school bus .. Haha, he's such a boy. But he also wore big boy undies all day and didn't have any accidents. He's even waking us at night to let us know he has to go! I'm pretty proud!

"Wordless" Wednesday

Bath Time!

Bath time is getting easier! :) Liam loves taking a bath with Landon. He almost falls over with excitement. I mean he's already doing his most favorite thing, (besides eating) but to have his brother in there too!!?! Wow!

Landon does pretty well too. I do have to tell him to be more careful when Liam is in there and he'll say, "be easy, mama".

Liam & Dada

The boys have been sick lately with a cold. Liam has been extra pitiful. He's getting top teeth and has a runny nose. The other day Chad watched him and they got to catch up on some cuddle time and Chad kept sending me the cutest pictures through out the day while I was at work. Such sweetness! :)

Landon lately

Landon has been so fun lately. I love having conversations with him and hearing what he thinks about. He tried out some big boy undies and did pretty well. I'm think I'm going to start really working with him on this pretty soon. I feel like he's more ready now than he ever has been in the past.

He's been waking up a lot earlier lately and waking up more throughout the night. It all started when he started sleeping in his toddler bed. I think he's learning he has more freedom now. He's cute though, he walks out in the mornings and says, "I get up now?". The other morning he got up at like 4:30 and then crashed on our bed...too cute.

He played the wii some too with mama the other day and seemed to enjoy it.  We did tape down the gas button so he could drive it a lot easier. Haha.

Toys!

We took the boys to the toy store to play on Sunday afternoon. I don't know why we haven't done this before.  We had a lot of fun!  Landon was all over the place and was soo excited to be there.  It was as if he didn't know what toy to check out because there were just so many to look at.  Liam wanted to grab everything within reach but that's not really anything new.  ha

Liam has said Dada a few times but I haven't been able to get it on video. Well he said Mama last Thursday night and I was able to get it on video!!!! 

First Haircut!

I finished our February photo album and started our March album.  I can't believe how fast February went by! March started off with Liam getting his very first haircut.  I kept putting it off but I could tell it was starting to bother him when it got in his eyes.  So all I got Donna to do was cut it out of his eyes and leave the rest alone.  I am just not ready to give him a little boy haircut yet!  I really like it though... I like it more than I thought I would and I think he is excited to be able to see now.  He did great by the way.  He just smiled at Donna the whole time. 

Landon also got his haircut but before he did that he got to go check out the horses with daddy.

 

Landon did great and sat in the chair all by himself.  He's growing up!!
