We went exploring for a bit after dinner tonight. Landon is totally gonna fall right into being a country boy just fine :)

Pool Time.

We went to the pool today and I got to see how much Landon loves the water...aka wawa! He gets so upset when it's time to leave, but he really needed to come back and take a nap. I think he was still tired from yesterday's fun activities. Right now it's around 3 and he's been asleep since 1...and has yet to even move in the crib. I'm looking forward to wearing him out all summer down by the pool :)

30 Weeks!

Liam is a pretty flexible little guy.  And at 29 weeks he weighed 3lbs 5oz (90%) and his heart rate was 162!  He's growing really well and is a very active baby! :)

Things are going pretty well overall.  I have been having a lot of braxton hicks contractions.  And I mean everyday...sometimes for hours and hours at a time.  I think I need to rest more and drink more water, because when I do that it seems to help. 

I've gained around 22lbs!  I gained a total of 30 with Landon.  I really wanted to gain less with this pregnancy but I don't think it's going to turn out that way...

Right now we have a scheduled c-section set up for August 2, 2011!  Sounds like a neat birthday to me! :)  

Oh! ...and some may call me a failure.  Yep.  I failed the first glucose test for gestational diabetes.  So, I ended up having to take the long dreaded three hour test.......and oh......my........gosh.  That was a horrible test.  I got there at 8:15am and wasn't able to eat until I left around noon.  I had to drink about a gallon of that sweet nasty drink and get my arm poked 4 times.  But...........I PASSED!  Yay!  No gestational diabetes for me! 

But I do have to say I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has been.  I keep thinking we have all the time in the world before Liam will arrive, when in reality we only have nine short weeks left.  During those nine weeks I want to savior each pregnancy moment.  I am one lucky woman to actually be able to somewhat enjoy pregnancy and all it has to offer.  It's amazing to me what the human body is capable of doing.  When I feel Liam hiccup, it makes me think about how incredible it is that my body is growing another human being.  The anticipation and excitement of a human life developing inside of me is sometimes overwhelming.  What will he look like?  I keep picturing Landon.  Will he be wild and crazy or calm and laid back?  Will he be a bad sleeper and a good eater, unlike Landon who is a great sleeper and a bad eater?  So many questions and things to think about during the next nine weeks.  Until then I am going to try and cherish all the good stuff that I can.  I absolutely love feeling him move around in my belly.  Sometimes I may complain, but 99% of the time I will stop what I'm doing if he's really having a good time in there, lay my hands on my belly, and try and distinguish what exactly that hard little body part pushing out against my belly is...is it a foot? a hand? his head or his bottom? The feeling is indescribable and so reassuring.  I must say, when it comes down to it, I do love being pregnant :)

Natural Science Center.

Landon had a busy day today.  He went to gym this morning then we went to a birthday party at the Natural Science Center for a sweet 2 year old, Olive.  Landon did pretty good with only a 10 minute nap all day and really seemed to enjoy himself.  He had to say bye-bye to all the animals after we left and he loved the train table.  We will definitely go back again.

Water Baby!

Chad took Landon to the pool today and...HE LOVED IT!  Yay!!  I have a water baby!!  Anyone that knows me knows I LOVE the water.  Love may not even be a strong enough word.  As a baby I took naps on the concrete under the tables at the pool and ate popcorn sitting on the counter in the club house with the lifeguards.  I, myself, was only a lifeguard for about 9 years and swam on the swim team since forever.  When Chad told me Landon was screaming with excitement and jumping right off the pool deck into the water, I couldn't contain my grin.  It's going to be a great summer!! 

Grilling Out

Last night we grilled out over at the park. We had a really nice time. The weather was PERFECT. We really miss having our house with our grill on the back porch........oh but one day soon..........

29 weeks!

19 Months!

Happy 19 Months, Landon! Another month has flown by!

He's still wearing 18 month clothes, size 4 diapers during the day and size 5 at night. He's NOT a big eater AT ALL. It's really hard to get him to eat about anything now except for sometimes he'll eat bread, yogurt, or applesauce. He used to eat all kinds of meats and everything else and now I can't even get him to put one bite in his mouth! It's frustrating but the doctor said he'll eat when he's hungry and this is normal..........I just can't help but worry because he's a tiny little man already. He does drink a lot though and will drink those pediasure drinks with no problem. We do what we can though and offer healthy meals in fun different ways...one day it should click. I'm hoping this new table we got him might help some too??

Other than that he's still growing and learning at an amazing rate, I think :)  He's starting to really enjoy books now.  This is his favorite book...

...and he's impressed me so much with it!  He's been doing this for a while but he loves for you to ask him, "where's the ______?" and then he'll point at it and attempt to say it.  Of course his favorite page is the one with all the "things that go" on it...Tractor, Train, Truck, Boat, Motorcycle, Fire Truck, etc. So smart :) Here's a video I took this morning...
